MAFS UK: Terrance reveals he's a DJ to Porscha
Married At First Sight UK viewers have hit out at the dating show’s experts for “mismatching” Porscha and Terence in Monday’s episode.
Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas are responsible for matching and supporting contestants who meet for the first time on their wedding day, however fans have slammed their latest decision.
The latest instalment saw DJ partyboy Terence, 40, paired with religious bride Porscha, 35, who is in bed by 11pm.
At one point during the episode, the groom was seen telling Porscha’s bridesmaid and friend that he sometimes doesn’t get home until four or five in the morning after a gig.
Porscha was even seen asking her groom’s friend: “Do you think it will bother him that I don’t like going out?”

When quizzed further, she admitted she didn’t really go out at all after giving “her life to Christ”.
She told the cameras: “My relationship with Jesus and God is so important to me, I know who I am without him, and I don’t ever want to be that person again, that person wasn’t happy.
“Just after uni I was drinking a lot, and then there was a point where God spoke to me and I decided to give my life to Christ, I stopped clubbing, I stopped drinking, I loved being at home with my family.”
Admitting his concerns about the match, Terence stated: “That’s disappointing, but maybe it’s true, opposites attract.”
After getting to know his bride further, however, he later added: “Porscha’s not a party girl, she’s sleeping by 11 o’clock, I’m thinking, is this going to work?”

Fans have since slammed the experts’ decision remarking on how different the pair seem.
One wrote: “Why have they matched Porscha and Terence? #mafs.”
A second commented: “Errr I think he wants a future in music by the sounds of it live you not heard he’s a DJ/Host??? #MAFSUK #MAFS.”(sic)
A third ranted: “The experts don’t have a clue. Matching a 40 year old ‘DJ’ and party boy with a woman who wants a conservative quiet family style relationship… they don’t have a clue what they’re doing. #MAFSUK.”
In response, one viewer suggested the experts my have matched the pair strategically “to cause drama”.
A fourth added: “Me sitting here waiting the Terence and Porscha drama to arrive over the next few weeks.”

The backlash comes after Paul C previously admitted that the first series led him to seek therapy.
During an interview on Capital Radio, he and Mel were asked whether they feel responsible when things go wrong between the couples they put together.
Paul, who is also known for his work on Celebs Go Dating, candidly spilled: “Oh yeah, the first series I did, I had to go to therapy because of that, because I put all my value in whether or not the couples would actually work, and then I realised that’s not really what this is about.”
He went on to say the show was “not just about the couples” but the viewers too.
Married At First Sight 2023 airs Monday to Thursday at 9pm on E4.
