A BBC host left viewers stunned as she appeared on live TV last night with a black eye and her arm in a sling.
Fiona Bruce, 59, was in Wolverhampton for Question Time to discuss the day's big political issues.
But before starting the debate, she explained how she got her mystery injuries.
She told BBC viewers that she had a nasty accident while horse riding.
Fiona said: "I thought I'd just mention it. It's the least interesting thing in the programme but in case you're wondering.
"I broke my hand and I've got the remnants of a black eye because I fell off a horse. And that's all I have to say about that."
Viewers took to X/Twitter in shock.
One wrote: "Fiona Bruce says she has a broken hand and black eye because she 'fell off a horse'."
A second added: "That looks like a horrible accident."
A third penned: "Fiona fell of a horse! But thankfully she seems ok."

The BBC star previously spoke out about her experience with horse riding, revealing she started learning in 2011.
She told the Daily Mail: "I started horse riding very late in life. I will always be pretty rubbish, but I love it."
Fiona continued: "It takes me to a different place. I can't think about anything else when I'm doing it. I love being around horses. I love the speed. I love being outdoors."
