Zed Colback took to social media to mourn the loss of his brother Sam who was tragically killed during a snorkelling accident.

The 24-year-old was snorkeling off the coast of Muttonbird Island, when he was pulled off the waters, according to The West Australian.

With an ongoing investigation underway to unearth the circumstances surrounding his death, Zed paid tribute to Sam on Instagram.

Alongside photos of them enjoying the outdoors together as youngsters and others displaying Sam’s adventurous nature, Zed reflected on the memories.

The Ninja Warrior star and his wife Nicole had also welcomed a daughter just last month and shared sadness about her never knowing him.

He added: “Our little Amara will learn all about her crazy loving, big-hearted, fearless uncle Sam as she grows up. See you in glory.”

Sam’s body was recovered from the water in Albany, on the southern tip of West Australia.

A GoFundMe has since been launched to help cover funeral costs for the family — which has raised over $6000.
