Lisa Armstrong is said to be considering uprooting to America after a "tough" few months, following her reported split from boyfriend James Green.
The Strictly Come Dancing make up artist, 47, allegedly split from electrician James in August after three years of dating. Prior to her relationship with James, Lisa was married to TV presenter Ant McPartlin.
Following a difficult few months, Lisa is now said to be weighing up her options and thinking about her future as she's "been in a dark place", but is using the latest series of Strictly to "distract her" for the time being.
A source told Closer magazine: "Lisa's had a really tough time of it recently and she's been in a dark place. While she's got Strictly to distract her now, she hasn't got a lot on her schedule in the months after Christmas and is starting to dread that quiet time when she finally stops and has time to process everything."
The insider went on to say that Lisa is in the process of planning a trip to Los Angeles to visit her close pal and former Deuce bandmate Craig Young, as she "loves it" every time she jets out to see him.
"And it could lead to something more permanent – she's debated moving out there before, and now with her recent split she's seriously considering it," the source said.
OK! has contacted representatives for Lisa Armstrong for comment.
In early August it was reported that Lisa had split from boyfriend James, just weeks after the couple celebrated James' 40th birthday and Lisa posted a loving tribute.
It was said that the break-up came out of the blue and rocked the beautician, just weeks before the new series of Strictly commenced in September. James allegedly moved his things out of Lisa's £4.5 million mansion not long after their split.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time: "I don't really know what has gone wrong. The two of them were only on a swanky holiday together in the Caribbean or somewhere about eight weeks ago.
"He was with her one day, and he just wasn't with her the next day. There was no inkling that anything was wrong."
Lisa met fellow divorcee James back in 2020 – three years after her gut-wrenching split from husband of 11 years Ant. The showbiz couple had been together for more than two decades after meeting on a Smash Hits tour in the 90s before shocking fans with their break-up.
Lisa and Ant were officially granted a divorce in 2018. The TV presenter moved on with Anne Marie Corbett, who used to work as his PA, with the pair going on to tie the knot in August 2021.
