Cher’s Problematic Past Relationship Seems To Be Back on Based on These Cozy Photos With Her Ex

It looks like Cher found romance in the City of Lights during Paris Fashion Week. It’s not a new boyfriend though, fans will recognize the man on her arm in their cozy snapshots — it’s her ex-boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards.

The on-again, off-again couple were attached at the hip to the Givenchy Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 on Thursday. The 77-year-old superstar looked chic in her black cargo pants, leather blazer, and white tank top, accessorized with black sunglasses and a chunky silver necklace. Edwards complemented Cher’s outfit with his own oversized black suit and dark sunglasses — and the dynamic duo even had matching platinum-blonde hair color. If anyone was looking for a sign that they were back together, this might be it. 

While their 40-year age gap — Edwards is 37 — has been called out on social media, Cher has no problem with her somewhat controversial dating choices. When they began dating in 2022, she defended her love in a now-deleted tweet after seeing all of the critical feedback. She wrote, “Love doesn’t know math, it sees [love].” She was also the recipient of a massive diamond ring that sure looked like an engagement sparkler, but the couple swore it was just a gift. 

Since they’ve recently been spotted together in Beverly Hills, and now, in the romantic city of Paris, it’s going to be hard for Cher and Edwards to deny their dating status. When they split in May, there was reportedly “no bad blood between them,” according to an Us Weekly source. Another insider added, “The connection they had was real, and they truly cared for each other.” Well, it looks like their undeniable chemistry couldn’t keep them away and Cher is back snuggling with the man she loves.
