Phillip Schofield seen with wife Stephanie for first time since This Morning affair scandal

Phillip Schofield and his estranged wife Stephanie Lowe were seen out together in London on Monday, marking the pair's first public outing together since the TV presenter admitted to having affair during their marriage.

Phillip, 61, was joined by Stephanie, 59, on 4 October in west London alongside their daughter Molly, 30, in a rare family outing. The dad-of-two, who also shares daughter Ruby, 27, with Stephanie, looked downcast as he strolled alongside his wife, who appeared stony faced.

The ex-This Morning host and his wife are said to be on "good terms" despite Philip publicly admitting to having an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague earlier this year.

Stephanie was previously said to have been left "very angry" after her husband admitted to the affair, something he had previously lied to her about. However, It's now thought that the pair are back on talking terms, with Phillip paying regular visits to their former family home in Henley-on-Thames.

The former TV presenter is reported to have also been undergoing therapy to help him come to terms with losing his career and best friend, Holly Willoughby.

Sources have claimed he has been spending time with Stephanie and their daughters, Molly and Ruby, following a turbulent few months.

A friend of Phillip told Mail Online: "It's when he is with them that Phil appreciates what actually matters in his life and he is able to smile."

The friend added that Phillip has been undergoing regular therapy sessions which have been helping him come to terms with losing his career.

The source said: "Phil's life has changed in a way that previously would have been inconceivable for him to have imagined. He is spending a lot of time talking to a therapist, at least once a week. That's what he is mainly doing right now, reflecting on what he did wrong and trying to come to terms with his new life.

"It has all been an incredible shock for him and he is struggling to get his head around it. He feels like he needs to have someone professional to talk it all through with. The situation has put a lot of stress on his family and he decided that he needed another outlet."

Phillip stepped down from his role at This Morning in May after he admitted to having affair with a younger male colleague during his marriage to Stephanie. The 61 year old also admitted to lying about the affair to his loved ones, as well as TV bosses and co-host Holly Willoughby.
