Strictly's Layton Williams breaks silence on Shirley Ballas feud after shock result | The Sun
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Layton Williams has insisted he isn’t feuding with head judge Shirley Ballas.
Fans of the show were left gobsmacked this weekend when the West End star, 29, found himself in the bottom two after ‘harsh’ criticism from the judges.
And in a shock move Shirley revealed she would have sent Layton home when he went up against Angela Scanlon, but he ended up being saved by the other judges.
Shirley admitted: "Well important for me always when it comes to Ballroom and Latin is the character of the dance, that it's true to the dance, timing and quality and I would have voted for Angela and Carlos."
Fans were devastated to see Layton in the dance-off considering he has been favourite to win throughout the series.
Speaking about her comments, after she branded their original dance ‘lumpy’, Layton admitted on This Morning that he took it on the chin.
