Strictlys Layton Williams and pro partner Nikita spotted leaving afterparty worse for wear

Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams and his professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin were spotted leaving an afterparty rather worse for wear.

The dancing duo, who have been turning heads in the BBC competition with their exceptional partnership, appeared to have had a night of making shapes and downing the drinks as they stumbled down the stairs inside the Roundhouse venue in Camden, following the Attitude Awards on Wednesday evening, 11 October.

Layton, 29, who is a self-proclaimed "flamboyant" soul with plenty of energy, looked fabulous as he grinned and slung his arms around his dance partner, and the pair were even hugging and kissing as they proved their friendship has reached new heights.

The Sex Education star donned a black PVC tank top and matching trousers for the event, and held a wet-look jacket in one arm.

As the actor cradled a glass of wine in the other hand, Layton showed off his bold style with smokey eye makeup and plenty of glitter as he blew kisses to his pals in the stairway.

Ukrainian-Italian dancer Nikita, 25, opted for an elegant black blazer and smart trousers for the event, his blonde locks styled into his signature wave.

Nikita finished off his look with a sparkly belt, an array of earrings and some matching gold rings, while Layton chose a pair of dainty hoop earrings and a statement ring.

Amidst the partying, Layton ended up taking a fall as he tripped and tumbled down some of the stairs, but thankfully the star laughed off his antics.

So far in the competition, which is now seeing the celebrities training for their week four performances, Layton has displayed his incredible talent in front of the judges.

The star is known for his acting career, but has also has some dance experience in other areas previously.

As a result, Layton has suffered from criticism from viewers who have claimed he is already a professional.

What's more, the contestant has been repeatedly "trolled" for his style and fashion choices on the show, as in Movie Week he slipped into an outfit designed to mimic that of Grease icon Rizzo.

Speaking to OK! on the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards on Sunday, the Everybody's Talking About Jamie favourite became emotional as he spoke about the criticism he's received.

He told us that it's disappointing to get negative comments about his outfit choices and he thinks it's "wild" that people are even bothered.

"At first I was like, 'oh it won't affect me'," he said, before admitting that it had.

"I just find it wild when people… like really, are you that pressed? It's just a dress."

Despite the difficulties along the way, Layton insisted that he's focused on his journey and growing the partnership with Nikita.

The actor also shared that he's been having a great time training as he reflected: "I'm actually enjoying it.

"Like genuinely just having fun," the star went on. "It's just a vibe isn't it? So [I'm] enjoying it, thinking about the bigger picture, and just keeping it moving."
