Strictly fans ‘convinced’ major BBC star is set to quit after spotting ‘clue’
Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced a major show star is set to quit the series after spotting a major “clue”.
Fans of the BBC show are convinced Spanish pro Gorka Márquez, 33, is going to exit the series for good. This comes after they've spotted a string of reasons for their growing suspicions.
Fans have taken so social media to claim that the star appeared “checked out” during the latest series, which saw him dance alongside radio DJ Nikita Kanda.
They were ultimately booted off after landing in the bottom two alongside Graziano Di Prima and Zara McDermott. Fans also predicted that the arrival of his second child in July appears to be taking it’s toll on the star and will lead him to quit the show.

Posting on Reddit to discuss who might quit the show, fans said: “Gorka seems totally check out to me. Hasn’t his partner just had another baby? So it could be newborn exhaustion, especially with a toddler running around too.” A second penned the same sentiment, adding: “Gorka isn’t present this year at all. I think he might quit the show.”
A third added: “sorry but Gorka just had a baby and he looks like he doesn’t really want to be there anymore. I don’t think he’ll be here next series unfortunately.” Gorka welcomed baby boy Thiago with former dance partner Gemma Atkinson, with the pair already sharing little girl, Mia, 3.
Bookies have already given Gorka odds of 3/1 of leaving the dance contest after he previously admitted he was divided over returning to the show. A body language expert has also shared their thoughts on whether the professional dancer will hang up his dancing shoes.
Adrianne Carter claimed Gorka showed signs of being "fed up" following his latest routine with Nikita. After analysing a clip of Gorka and Nikita chatting to Claudia Winkleman, the body language expert stated: "At the start of the clip, he does quite a lot of sighing which is different from catching his breath.
"Sighing is often a sign of feeling fed up. His shoulders also slump quite a lot another clue that he may be feeling fed up. He really only shows signs of enjoyment toward the end of the clip."
