DESPERATE Netflix fans have launched a series of campaigns to save their favourite show after it was brutally axed by the streaming giant.
Viewers of Shadow and Bone appear to have been rocked to the core after it was revealed that it would be no more.
The fantasy show is based on a book series by Leigh Bardugo and has a huge fan base who have been left heartbroken by the cancellation.
Netflix axed a slew of programmes out of the blue in one fell swoop which led to outrage from many fans.
But the loyal fan base behind Shadow and Bone have been making their feelings freely known.
Having aired two seasons, it seems that Netflix opted to drop the show after its latest instalment, released this past March, underperformed.

In order to plea to Netflix, the fans of the series have created a number of tactics to gain bosses eyes and bring back the show from its current fate.
They have set up a number of social media accounts with the purpose to "save Shadow and Bone" and in order to gain traction.
A similarly titled hashtag has already begun to do the rounds on X – formerly Twitter – in order to get people noticing.
Some devoted fans have even gone one step further and have launched an online petition, dedicated to saving the outcome of the show and turning its fortunes around.

The petition has already well past the 120,000 signatures mark, signalling some type of appetite to have the programme back.
Shadow and Bone is also currently sitting amongst the trending section on both Netflix UK and US.
Could this all lead to a rethink in the brutal decision?
Fans have also appealed to Disney+, Paramount+ and Amazon Prime in a bid to protect the show.
Writing at the time of its axe, one shocked fan exclaimed: "NETFLIX CANCELLED SHADOW AND BONE???!?!?!???"
Another mourned: "Netflix cancelling Shadow and Bone has to be the worst thing that could ever happen to a girl like last straw."
Shadow and Bone's axing comes as part of Netflix's latest show cull.
Those in that category include comedy drama Glamorous, alongside animated series Agent Elvis, Farzar and Captain Fall.
