Claire Sweeney has been revealed as the second contestant taking part in Dancing on Ice.
The actress, 52, joined Holly Willoughby and Ben Shephard on Tuesday (September 27) as she discussed her upcoming stint ahead of the 2024 series.
The star said: "I’m really looking forward to going to an ice rink with my son and actually being able to skate and not have to use the penguins they give you to help you stay upright!”

The Coronation Street star admitted she had no choice but to tell her son about her appearance on the show as she was wearing her boots around the house.
"I've had to wear by boots round the house so I had to tell my son why I was wearing boots. But I swore him to secrecy." The Brookside icon appears to be a fan of the show, recalling the moment Bonnie Langford attempted the infamous "headbanger" in 2006.
Asked if she would attempt the headbanger, Claire admitted it "terrifies" her, adding: "I think they'd deserve a medal for lifting me up and swinging me around. God bless them."
It was announced back in April that Claire had joined the cast of Coronation Street as Cassie Plummer, the mother of long-running character Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall). Opening up about her role on the Cobbles, the theatre star said it is a "blessing" to be a part of the soap as she is such a huge fan of it.
"I'm absolutely loving it," she added. Claire gushed over working alongside Dame Maureen Lipman, who stars as Cassie's mother Evelyn Plummer. "To be working opposite Dame Maureen Lipman and Alan Halsall, who are brilliant," she told the duo.

"My first scene with Maureen was a 14-page two-hander. It was amazing. That was my first time on the set filming and just watching her and working with her, she's a masterclass." Claire will join former boxer Ricky Hatton on Dancing on Ice which will kick off in January 2024.
