Brian May shares footage of his ‘risky’ Halloween treat from Queen concert
Brian May performs at We Will Rock You musical revival
Queen and Adam Lambert’s tour took Sir Brian May, Roger Taylor and their collaborative singer to Chicago this week.
And on Halloween night, the guitarist had a special treat for lucky fans attending the show in the United Center.
Posting footage of himself on his official Instagram account, the 76-year-old legend was captured performing his iconic Bohemian Rhapsody guitar solo.
However, as a special Halloween (trick or) treat, this time around he appeared surrounded by green lighting and wearing a Frank the Robot mask.
Fans will know this Queen mascot to be the metal man who famously features on the album cover of News of the World holding the dead bodies of the four band members.

Sir Brian captioned the post: “My little Halloween gift ! Not without some risk — ha ha ! Happy Halloween and Dia de los Muertos, folks !
Yes, the green spotlights were ordered specially – a kind of one-off Wicked moment ! But take a look at us playing Ogre Battle in 1971 !! Ha ha ! Thanks @sunshineglambert !!! Rock on ! Bri.”
The Queen guitarist also posted a video from inside his Chicago hotel room reflecting on whether this could be his last North American tour, admitting he’d been fighting a cold during the Halloween shows.

He told fans: “Yes ! I look racked out !!! That’s the reality behind the glam ! Ha ha ! I was fighting a bad cold throughout the Chicago shows … but hopefully nobody noticed ? And … I’m
fine – still ready to rock plenty more. What saved me was ….. exercise ! Static biking is the greatest mobiliser for me … plus the hot and cold showers … and occasionally getting some sleep ! I feel I’m finding some better notes in the last couple of shows. Other than that …. Lots to say … I wish I were saying it … but last night in the show when I haltingly spoke up for Peace, I felt the room was with me. Thanks Chicago folks … love ya. Bri.”
Queen and Adam Lambert are performing in Dallas, Texas for the next two nights, so perhaps the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will make an appearance as they did last time for Fat Bottomed Girls.
