Quality Street is bringing back a previously discontinued chocolate of over 20 years.
The much-loved confectioner announced that the popular flavour, Coffee Creme, will be back available to UK-based fans.
The return of Coffee Creme comes after Quality Street polled the nation on their favourite retro sweet, and the findings revealed Coffee Creme to be the number one most-loved retro sweet.
But fans of the flavour only have until Christmas 2023 to enjoy the treat, as after the festive period, the sweet treat will disappear from the selection box once again.
The chocolate, made from a decadent coffee fondant, will be exclusively available to John Lewis and Waitrose retailers from 20 September.

Quality Street Brand Manager, Samantha Hirst said: ‘We’ve been keeping the exciting news of the return of the Coffee Creme tightly under wraps so it’s a huge relief to finally share it with fans across the UK.’
‘We know it was the one that fans were keen to bring back when we asked the nation back in 2021, so it’s safe to say that we’re anticipating we’ll see some smiling faces at the news!’
In addition to the return of the Coffee Creme flavour, Quality Street lovers will also be able to enjoy customisable tins this Christmas.
Shoppers can create their chocolate box packed with their favourite flavours, with 12 tasty treats to pick from, from 27 September in selected John Lewis stores.
So fans of the Coffee Creme flavour can create a tin filled with just those.
In addition, keen Quality Street fans can also personalise their tins.
Lisa Cherry, Christmas buyer at John Lewis said: ‘Our customers love the pick and mix stations at John Lewis, so we’re delighted to be welcoming this back into select shops along with the exclusive Coffee Creme.
‘We know everyone is going to be very excited about this iconic return and we wanted to make it as accessible as possible.

The news comes shortly after the brand announced a new chocolate bar featuring a combination of two of the nation’s most beloved flavours.
The company – owned by Nestlé – announced the arrival of a ‘stellar collaboration’ – a delicious fusion of the Green Triangle and The Purple One.
This collaboration redefined the sharing bar experience like never before, by combining the two flavourful fan favourites.
The new Quality Street Collusions bar contains three layers of ‘textured deliciousness,’ combining caramel and creamy hazelnut filling as well as crunchy hazelnut pieces.
Quality Street Collisions sharing bar is currently available exclusively in Asda, and will be rolled out to supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide.
