I’ve turned my council house into a showroom with bargain buys from Dunelm and Asda…people are amazed, here’s my tips | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed that she has changed the living room in her council house into a beautiful showroom, whilst on a budget.

Using bargain buys from Asda, Dunelm, Ikea and Matalan, the DIY whizz was able to give her tired space a much-needed makeover, without splashing too much cash.

Posting on social media, the mother shared a clip showing the before and after of her front room’s impressive overhaul.

She said: “POV: You give your council living room a budget glow up.”

At the start of the short clip, we saw the woman’s run-down space.

The paint on the walls was peeling and there was no flooring or carpet laid.

She later confirmed that to keep the costs low, she nabbed her lampshade from Asda and her curtain rod from Dunelm.
