Fancy dress goes viral for iconic duo theme – with Sinitta and Simon Cowell
It's not often you get to see Sinitta and Shrek in the same room, nor Sharon Osborne and Simon Cowell nowadays. No, this isn't a fever dream. A group of pals came up with a rather impressive fancy dress theme of 'iconic duos'.
Instead of going as the 'sexy' versions of popular pairings, the friends really went all out to nail the characters and famous faces down to a tee. Some people even said that the costumes are the "best" they had seen in a long time.
And now Charli Collins and her mates fancy dress party has gone viral on TikTok.

In the clip which racked up over 500,000 views, Charli declared: "Category is: ICONIC DUOS." She then filmed what she and her friends dressed up as.
First up Simon Cowell and Sinitta, who rocked outfits similar to what was worn at the – of course – iconic X Factor judges houses back in 2009. The 'Simon Cowell' rocked the classic white shirt and blue jeans combo while a long pinned 'Sinitta' wore a rendition of the famous palm leaf outfit.
Staying with X Factor iconic duos, up next were a pair dressed as Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne who nailed the married couple's signature looks. Moving away from singing competition duos, next up some pals dressed as Netflix's Tiger King stars Carol Baskin and imprisoned Joe Exotic. Of course, they were dressed in animal print like the actual pair.
Britain's Got Talent greats Stavros Flatley were impersonated as a duo of friends rocked the iconic blonde wigs and red jackets – along with the dance move that made the father and son combo famous. Next, a nod to the classic pink and white bird costumes from much-loved Wayans brothers comedy, White Chicks.
And last but not least, a scarily good Shrek and Fiona and Marge and Homer Simpson. We wonder how long it took for the yellow body paint to come off!
Impressed with the quality of the fancy dress, many people fled to the comments to praise the group of mates.
One person commented: "Look at the pins on Sinitta though."
Another user chuckled: "The effort was 10/10."
While a third voiced: "Simon Cowell and Sinitta is literally hilarious."
