BONFIRE night 2023 is fast approaching and soon wonderful bright colours will take over the night sky.
If you are looking to take part this year with some late-night sparkles we’ve rounded up the cheapest places to buy fireworks this year.
From sparklers to quiet blasters there's sure to be something for every Bonfire night celebration.
Asda
Despite being one of the cheapest supermarkets in the UK Asda’s fireworks come with some hefty price tags this year.
Prices for fireworks in Asda start from £65 and go up to a whopping £239.
360 sparkers will cost you £65 in Asda if you need that many but you can get a 100-shot Standard Witchcraft Single Ignition firework for £75.

Lidl
5 A pack of four firework shot tubes from Lidl costs £4.99 Credit: Lidl Lidl’s prices are a lot more affordable this year. A pack of 10 sparklers will only set you back £1.99.
If you need to get something in the air they’ve got fireworks shot tubes from £4.99.
Lidl doesn't do home delivery or click and collect though, so you'll have to head to your nearest store.
Aldi
Aldi is boasting even cheaper prices this year a pack of 10 sparklers will only set you back 80p.

The Razzel Dazzel fireworks promise an unforgettable night for just £6.99. Like Lidl, you’ll need to head in-store to get these bargains.
Aldi has a lot of quiet fireworks on sale this year if you want to be mindful, you can get their Quiet Skies fireworks box for £9.99.
Morrisons
This year Morrisons is partnering with Direct Fireworks which will be available in stores from October 28 to November 5.
Prices for sparklers start from 50p while the Fantastic 20 Shot Fan Barrage promises sparkle after sparkle for just £25.
At the top end, there’s the Olympian display pack, which will set you back £65.
It contains seven items, with 50 pieces included in each.
Quite a few supermarkets have decided not to sell fireworks this year.
In 2021 Sainsbury banned the sale of fireworks in all its stores.
It came after concerns raised by charities that fireworks cause unnecessary distress to pets, wildlife and elderly people.
It doesn’t look like Tesco or M&S will be selling fireworks this year either.
Remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to purchase fireworks.
It might be worth checking with your local council to see if it has any rules on setting them off as well, including time limits.
