Reservoir and TÉLÔS to Offer a Collaborative Tiefenmesser Tourbillon for Only Watch 2023
Reservoir and independent Swiss watch manufacturer, TÉLÔS have crossed paths to create a unique time-telling offering for this year’s Only Watch auction.
Drawing inspiration from nautical measuring instruments, the reference features a white enamel Grand Feu dial on the top half of the watch face. Housed in a 42mm bronze case, the overall design language is also reminiscent of the depth gauge as seen inside submarines, while the rest of the dial is outfitted in an anthracite gray hue that has been bead-blasted and NAC-finished.
With the help of TÉLÔS, the Tiefenmesser Tourbillon also marks Reservoir’s first in-house tourbillon, which powers the time-teller with up to 60 hours of running time, complete with retrograde minutes, jumping hours, and a regulator-style display. The watch’s oscillating weight is also in clear view through its sapphire crystal caseback. On top of that, the timepiece is accompanied by a blue alligator strap, which comes fastened in place with a stainless steel and bronze butterfly deployment clasp.
The Reservoir x TÉLÔS Tiefenmesser Tourbillon will be auctioned off at the biennial Only Watch event on November 5, 2023. Estimated to sell for 50,000 – 60,000 CHF (approximately $55,796 – $66,956 USD), more information is available at the piece’s dedicated page on Only Watch’s website.
Elsewhere in watches, Vulcain revives its legendary Cricket Nautical timepiece.
