Miley Cyrus takes out restraining order against stalker who went to her house

Miley Cyrus has reportedly been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker.

The 30-year-old singer has received court-ordered protection after she claimed Alexander Kardalian, 52, turned up at her house just days after being released from prison.

Miley alleged in a legal filing this week that the man has also been sending her unwanted letters which detail his obsession with her going back to 2018, according to TMZ.

As a result of the filing, a judge signed off on her request for a restraining order, ruling that Kardalian is no longer permitted to contact the star in any way, and he should steer clear of her music or public appearances.

He will also need to remain at least 100 yards away from Miley, her home, vehicle, and any venues she’s performing at.

In the documents, the Wrecking Ball hitmaker claimed Kardalian has made several requests for money, as well as allegedly making sexually-charged comments about her.

Miley said his alleged ‘obsessive behaviour’ became increasingly concerning last summer when he arrived uninvited at her Los Angeles home on two occasions.

He was reportedly escorted off her property both times, and she claims he was arrested in December 2022 and jailed at San Quentin State Prison until his release in August.

In her filing, Miley claimed that he then returned to her property just a few after after his release, having allegedly sent a letter saying he intended to to visit once he was out of jail.

Her security team are said to have stopped him from seeing the singer, and they notified the police when he visited the property.

It’s claimed he was not deterred by threats of arrest if he returned in the future.

Miley alleged that Kardalian had even been using her home address for health insurance.

Elsewhere in the filing, she alleged he wrote a letter in which he said if she didn’t responded to his attends to get in touch, he ‘doesn’t give a f*** if he lives’.

Miley said Kardalian has been dealing with ‘severe mental health challenges’, while she also claimed he had a ‘dangerous fixation and/or obsession’ with her own life.

She now fears for her own safety – as well as that of her mum Tish and boyfriend Maxx Morando.
