Jane Seymour Causes Fans Some Whiplash as She Reveals Two Major Relationship Updates All at Once
For fans and followers of Jane Seymour, her latest Instagram post was quite a surprise. In addition to debuting her new beau, musician John Zambetti, the Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star confirmed her breakup with her longtime partner David Green.
In the first photo of the Instagram gallery, Seymour is seen smiling with Zambetti as they pose in front of a breathtaking sunset (seen HERE!). In the second shot, Zambetti is seen kissing Seymour’s head while she looks happily at the camera. For the stunning photos, Seymour is seen rocking a figure-hugging iridescent gold dress from Herve Leger with a textured gray cardigan on top. Zambetti, for his part, is wearing a classic black suit and white button-down.
“I’ve never been happier. 🥰” Seymour wrote in the caption.
In the comment section, fans and followers are praising the budding new couple. “You deserve all the happiness in the world Jane so happy for you, for both of you🤎,” wrote one user. “It’s great to see you, so happy John’s a really nice guy,” wrote her former co-star Joe Lando. “Good for you Miss Jane.🤓❤️”
In addition to so many supportive comments, some asked what happened to her relationship with Green, who had been her partner for the past nine years. “We decided we were better as friends 🙂,” Seymour responded to a follower.

Although the news of Green and Seymour’s split may have caused followers some whiplash, the news is far from a surprise given the actress’ latest comments on their relationship. Talking to Saga Exceptional Magazine in August, for example, Seymour revealed she had no intention of tying the knot with the film producer. “I’m not going to get married again,” she told the outlet.
“David is more of a great friend and companion; someone I love and respect hugely,” she continued. “But the older I’ve got, the more independent I’ve become. There will not be another marriage.”
Earlier in the year, in April, Seymour revealed to The Times that she even rejected a proposal from Green, saying it “would be the most horrible thing in the world” to get engaged. “I just said I would never put a number on his name,” she said.
Previously, Seymour got married and divorced four times. Her first marriage, to theatre director Michael Attenborough, lasted two years from 1971 to 1973. In 1977, Seymour then married her second husband, Geoffrey Planer, but the two called it quits by 1978. Her third marriage, to actor David Flynn, lasted from 1981 to 1992. Lastly, her most recent marriage, to James Keach, came to an end in 2015 after 22 years together.
