Gigi Hadid marks daughter Khai's 3rd birthday with stunning rare snaps

Gigi Hadid has shared rare snaps of her daughter, Khai, to mark the little one’s third birthday.

The supermodel welcomed her first child with Zayn Malik in 2020, and couldn’t help but go down memory lane to celebrate her big day.

Taking to Instagram, the 28-year-old – who has yet to show the youngster’s face on social media – uploaded a string of photos from the last few years, showing how much she has grown.

In one picture, the Guest In Residence founder could be seen embracing Khai as a newborn, as another showed the birthday girl demolishing the colorful cake from her first party.

Alongside the adorable collection of throwbacks, the mom-of-one wrote: ‘Have been celebrating our THREE YR OLD this week & just so honored to get to be her mama, to get to see life through her!!!!

‘Happy Birthday to my sweetest, smartest, spunkiest bestie!!!!!!!! DREAM KID / love of my life.’

Right on cue, fans and famous faces quickly flooded the comments below with birthday messages for Khai.

Kate Hudson was all of us as she penned: ‘Oh Mama! Can’t believe she’s 3 already HBD.’

Proud grandmother Yolanda Hadid said: ‘Greatest gift of all.’

‘Happiest birthday beautiful Khai & also happy BIRTH day to you precious mama,’ a fan said. ‘The BIG three.’

‘SO PRECIOUS !!! happy birthday Khai,’ another agreed.

Gigi and Zayn started dating in 2015 and welcomed Khai together in 2020 – but called time on their romance the following year.

Despite their split, the pair have remained close for the sake of their daughter, and have continued to co-parent her.

The former One Direction singer opened up about his bond with the toddler in an appearance on Call Her Daddy, explaining that he will always put her first.

‘Since I’ve had my daughter the main thing in my life is trying to be a good example to her,’ he told the host. ‘That’s why I’m even doing this interview.’

‘I used to get a lot of anxiety around doing a conversation like this but I want her to be able to look at me and say, “My dad’s doing this”.

‘I keep being told I’m telling dad jokes and I’m leaning into it. It’s okay, it’s cool.

‘People just look at me like I’m a weirdo and I’m like, “Well, I’m a dad now so I’m allowed to tell these jokes!”
