Piers Morgan rages at entitled little berk Prince Harry over security battle
Piers Morgan has hit out at Prince Harry in another swipe at the royal as the latter begins his legal action against the Home Office. The Duke of Sussex was told he would no longer be given the “same degree” of personal protective security in Britain after quitting the Royal Family in 2020.
Harry is now fighting to overturn the ruling as part of a three-day hearing. Taking to the platform X, formerly known as Twitter on Tuesday, Piers shared an article regarding Harry’s case, alongside a swipe at the father-of-two.
Not one to hold back on his thoughts, the journalist wrote: “Is he ever not in court? The entitled little berk should be told to stick his demand for royal protection where the sun don’t shine.”
Many of the TalkTV host’s 8.7 million followers flocked to his post to comment. One wrote: “Why can’t you stay out of Harry’s life?” A second added: “Are you ever not on Twitter?”
A third typed: “He is not a working Royal, why he should claim it? He can pay for his own private security.” A fourth commented: “He’s a British icon. Icons deserve protection.”

According to the BBC, the Home Office has said Harry’s security can be decided on a case-by-case basis. Much of the legal proceedings regarding the arrangements will be held in private.
Harry and Meghan Markle, who married in 2018, announced they had stepped down as senior royals back in January 2020. They have since been living in America with their two young children Archie and Lillibet.

Piers has not shied away from airing his thoughts about the couple over the years. Earlier this week, he echoed his words about their protection in his TalkTV column, writing: “If Harry and Meghan need security in the UK, they should pay for it privately like every other visiting B-list celebrity. No more titles. No more security. No more opportunities to exploit the institution they’ve done so much to tarnish.”
Discussing the topic on This Morning on Tuesday, Rylan Clark defended Harry over his plea in a conversation with co-star Emma Willis, royal journalist Camilla Tominey and Nick Ferrari. Camilla began by highlighting: “You could use the close comparison of the Duke of York, who is, at the end of the day a bit of a hate figure and say that he is probably just as at risk because he also served in the Falklands. He also has a military history as Prince Harry and he just gets on with it.”
Rylan replied: “I’ve got to agree. I mean, to be perfectly honest, the Duke of York and Prince Harry, that’s a very different reason as to why they have lost that royal protection.
“I think if you’re a royal, and you’ve had royal protection since birth or whatever, I think that should be a lifelong thing. That’s my own personal opinion.”
