Chloe Madeley has gotten candid about her feelings following her break-up with James Haskell.

On Monday (November 27) the 38-year-old held an impromptu Q&A session with her 295,000 Instagram followers.

Replying to one fan who asked Chloe how she was, the mother-of-one replied: “Honestly I am in a very good place.

“Happy and healthy, lucky and grateful. Genuinely.”

The update comes just weeks after the daughter of Judy Finnigan and Richard Madeley announced that she and former England international James, 38, were going their separate ways.

At the end of October, Chloe posted a statement on social media to announce the end of their marriage.

At the time, she wrote: “James and I mutually decided [to] separate at the end of September, 2023.

“We did not want to release a statement at all, certainly not while the television show was airing, but the constant press speculation about our marriage has forced our hand.”

They added: “Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, as it is private and we have a daughter to coparent, whom we will love and protect at all costs.”

In an additional statement, the former rugby union player wrote: “It’s with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done.

“My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won’t be commenting any further.”

The pair first met after exchanging messages online in 2015 and were engaged just three years later.

James got down on one knee during a trip to Paris, and Chloe told Hello! that she was speechless and was “staring at him in disbelief”.

At the time, the father-of-one told the publication: “’Planning the rest of my life with Chloe is exciting and I couldn’t be happier.”

In December 2018, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Berkshire and in February 2022 announced that they were expecting.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain alongside his former father-in-law Richard, 67, James said: “Well Richard, Chloe and I are expecting our first child. We are having a little girl and you are going to be a grandfather once again.”

The couple announced the birth of their daughter, Bodhi Rae Georgia Haskell, in August 2022.

Following their split, the ex-couple say they will now work to co-parent their little girl.
