Ulrika Jonsson has been left disappointed about having "no action" under the mistletoe over the festive period.

The 56-year-old TV personality has branded herself a "Single Pringle" and says she's never felt further from the prospect of a delicious snog under the mistletoe in my life. She logged into her Instagram page on Tuesday (December 19) to share a snap on her story of some mistletoe hanging from the ceiling and wrote underneath the festive snap: "Been standing here for at least 12 secs no action."

It comes after she admitted finding it hard playing "happy families" over the holidays. Writing her feature in Fabulous Magazine the model described her 'Christmas misery'. She said: "To add insult to my Christmas misery, I am still a Single Pringle. I've never felt further from the prospect of a delicious snog under the mistletoe in my life."

Ulrika has been single since her 2019 divorce from third husband Brian Monet after the pair parted ways after 10 years together. The star says she normally does a big Swedish Christmas day, but in reality she finds playing happy families at Christmas exhausting. She admitted: "Someone always had an issue with someone else and playing happy families is exhausting. The reality [of Christmas] comes with so much tension I feel tempted to pull a sickie."

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner has been married three times and has four children. Her first marriage to cameraman John Turnbull was in 1990 and they have are parents to son, Cameron. Ulrika's second marriage in 2003 was to Lance Gerrard-Wright who, at the time, was a contestant on her TV show Mr Right. They share a daughter, Martha.

She also has a daughter, Bo with ex-boyfriend hotelier, Marcus Kempen, who she separated from in 2000 after two years. Last month Ulrikka said she feels sexier than ever at the age of 56 after learning exactly how to feel good about herself.

She insisted ageing is "fabulous" despite society suggesting otherwise. The former Gladiators host claims feeling good about yourself does not come from dressing in a little black dress and wearing make-up, but simply learning how to cast aside what is not useful for herself in life.

Ulrika penned in the column for The Sun: "Easy to say, perhaps, but it really is the truth. The 'sexiness' I’m talking about doesn’t come from an LBD, sexy underwear, heavy make-up or a new trendy hairdo. It comes from deep within. It stems from acknowledging that I now truly know what I want in life — it’s not something that is blurred by the lines of demanding offspring or an inept partner or even a desire to please other people."
