Coach is taking the Old Town Road this Winter 2023, offering up an all-new capsule collection curated by Lil Nas X. Titled “The Lil Nas X Drop,” the edit features a slew of cozy ready-to-wear pieces and vibrant accessories that were “hand-picked and customized” by the rapper, who is a global ambassador for the brand.<\/p>\n
The collection makes nods to Lil Nas X’s signature bold tropes with an electric color scheme that’s certainly worth a double take. Coach’s creative director Stuart Vevers collaborated with the MONTERO\u00a0<\/em>singer to customize his Winter 2023 selections with graphics inspired by all facets of the artist’s identity. Lil Nas X’s concert merch illustrations appear on bags, while his pet cats and his zodiac sign (Aries) are patched onto an American varsity jacket. Leather biker and shearling coats, meanwhile, complement acidic sweatshirts and T-shirts that look to “evoke rave culture.”<\/p>\n \u201cOur Winter collection is inspired by my belief that fashion is about exploring and celebrating all of who you are,\u201d said Vevers. \u201cTo create the collection, we twisted the Coach archives and were also inspired by Lil Nas X\u2019s connection to music and nightlife. We evolved heritage styles introduced on the runway last season by amplifying color, texture and graphics to create pieces that celebrate our love for individuality and authentic self-expression that we share.\u201d<\/p>\n
