Just last year designs were revealed for Sou Fujimoto’s serene meadow-topped home on the Japanese island of Ishigaki in Okinawa for Not A Hotel. Now the hospitality brand is bringing the serene Japanese villa to market.

In conceptualizing the house, Fujimoto wanted to fuse the villa’s existence with the neighboring natural atmosphere – making for a villa that’s both beautiful and not disruptive. As such, the build features an irrefutably modern, yet seamless design that looks to the surrounding rolling hills. With it comes details like concave designs, panoramic ocean views and rounded shapes that comprise the home.

The house sits on a 9,900-square-meter property on the island’s southwestern coast with beautiful ocean views. Aside from the sprawling beauty, the house includes a roof garden, an infinity pool that meets the ocean, an underwater sauna, a full gym, open living and dining areas and four bedrooms. Every aspect of the house from its exterior to its interior is meant to elicit feelings of serenity, joy and undaunted peace.
