<\/p>\nActor Brian Conley has hit back at claims he hated working on EastEnders. <\/p>\n
The actor is quitting his role as Thomas \u201cRocky\u201d Cotton after three years on the soap. Insiders claim it\u2019s because he clashed with bosses, but Brian insists there\u2019s no bad blood.<\/p>\n
He told me: \u201cOf course there hasn\u2019t been any problems. I\u2019ve loved my time on EastEnders, I really have. Genuinely, I\u2019ve had the best time ever. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve made good friends and I will keep that going. It\u2019s been a wonderful journey and an amazing experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brian\u2019s final scenes on EastEnders are due to air within weeks. There is speculation he could be the character who dies in its explosive Christmas storyline. <\/p>\n
Brian\u2019s next gig will be in panto \u2013 playing Buttons in Cinderella in Milton Keynes. And he\u2019s already in talks about doing more roles in 2024.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cThere are things in the pipeline. Both TV and film roles have been offered. So we\u2019ll see what happens.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it might be nice to have a little break as well to be honest!\u201d It comes after the actor announced that he was leaving the show back in September.<\/p>\n
Speaking to OK magazine, he confessed: "It was a tough decision but it is true that I am going. I made it for many reasons.<\/p>\n
"It was tough as they are such a wonderful crowd in front and behind the cameras and I have loved my three years there." His exit was surrounded with feud rumours, but the BBC have since shut them down. <\/p>\n

A spokesperson told The Independent: "We can confirm that Brian Conley will be leaving EastEnders. There is absolutely no truth in any claims of a feud with bosses and the show fully support Brian in his decision to leave, which was made some time ago.<\/p>\n
"We wish him the best of luck for the future as we continue to work towards his exit storyline which has been in the works for sometime."<\/p>\n
