DESPERATE Netflix fans have launched a series of campaigns to save their favourite show after it was brutally axed by the streaming giant.<\/p>\n

Viewers of Shadow and Bone appear to have been rocked to the core after it was revealed that it would be no more.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

The fantasy show is based on a book series by Leigh Bardugo and has a huge fan base who have been left heartbroken by the cancellation.<\/p>\n

Netflix axed a slew of programmes out of the blue in one fell swoop which led to outrage from many fans.<\/p>\n

But the loyal fan base behind Shadow and Bone have been making their feelings freely known.<\/p>\n

Having aired two seasons, it seems that Netflix opted to drop the show after its latest instalment, released this past March, underperformed.<\/p>\n

In order to plea to Netflix, the fans of the series have created a number of tactics to gain bosses eyes and bring back the show from its current fate.<\/p>\n

They have set up a number of social media accounts with the purpose to "save Shadow and Bone" and in order to gain traction.<\/p>\n

A similarly titled hashtag has already begun to do the rounds on X – formerly Twitter – in order to get people noticing.<\/p>\n

Some devoted fans have even gone one step further and have launched an online petition, dedicated to saving the outcome of the show and turning its fortunes around.<\/p>\n

The petition has already well past the 120,000 signatures mark, signalling some type of appetite to have the programme back.<\/p>\n

Shadow and Bone is also currently sitting amongst the trending section on both Netflix UK and US.<\/p>\n

Could this all lead to a rethink in the brutal decision?<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Fans have also appealed to Disney+, Paramount+ and Amazon Prime in a bid to protect the show.<\/p>\n

Writing at the time of its axe, one shocked fan exclaimed: "NETFLIX CANCELLED SHADOW AND BONE???!?!?!???"<\/p>\n

Another mourned: "Netflix cancelling Shadow and Bone has to be the worst thing that could ever happen to a girl like last straw."<\/p>\n

Shadow and Bone's axing comes as part of Netflix's latest show cull.<\/p>\n

Those in that category include comedy drama Glamorous, alongside animated series Agent Elvis, Farzar and Captain Fall.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
