<\/p>\nDanielle Lloyd has revealed the brutal interrogation scenes during her time on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins felt like \u201ctherapy\u201d after her past experiences with domestic abuse. <\/p>\n
The model and TV star made it through to the final of the challenging Channel 4 reality show alongside Love Island star Teddy Soares, Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton, singer Gareth Gates and politician Matt Hancock. The show puts contestants to the test to see if they could complete the horrific army trials soldiers need to complete to enrol in the armed forced. <\/p>\n
While many celebrities sought counselling after the intense experience, the mum-of-five confessed the reality show gave her a positive outlook on life. Speaking to Daily Star and other press, the TV personality admitted: \u201cFor me personally when I got home, I had this crazy positive outlook.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, I\u2019m so positive.\u2019 It was really weird. I was like, \u2018Nobody\u2019s going to break me and I can do anything.\u2019 I felt really, really good.\u201d The star went on to address how the brutal trials helped her to conquer her fears and move on from her terrifying experience with domestic violence when she was younger.<\/p>\n

She went on: \u201cAlthough I've been through all the trauma of the show and all the tears I cried \u2013 that interrogation was horrendous \u2013 but I just thought to myself, \u2018I can do anything now. I can do anything I put my mind to it\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was terrified of heights and then I'm up there abseiling down a 300-metre cave. I felt like I'd been in therapy.\u201d Danielle confessed that initially having instructors yell at her in the abandoned rooms triggered a devastating response.<\/p>\n
But the mum managed to overcome it and came away from the show stronger than ever. Danielle continued: \u201cEven having to talk about the domestic violence that I'd been through and then having a man screaming in my face in the interrogation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t sure how I was going to feel about having that done to me. But in that situation, I coped. And afterwards I thought to myself, \u2018Bloody hell. I\u2019ve just had that man screaming and intimidating me and it should have really triggered something off but it didn\u2019t\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
The TV personality admitted how proud she was of herself for completing the show and making it all the way through to the end on her own. She added: \u201cIt shows how far I\u2019ve come with coping and getting through that experience in my life.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wanted to prove to myself that maybe I am not physically strong, but mentally I\u2019m a really strong, strong person. I didn\u2019t think I would last a day to be honest, so for me to get to the final was absolutely amazing and I was very proud.\u201d<\/p>\n

It comes after the starlet admitted in a recent interview that being blindfolded in the challenges gave her flashbacks to experiences of domestic violence. She told The Sun: \u201cI hated being hooded because I felt like I wasn\u2019t in control and that took me back to not being in control of my own life.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I had the hood on for the first time, it was literally terrifying. I just remember not being able to breathe. I was hyperventilating. And they said, \u2018What\u2019s wrong with you?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t feel like I'm in control\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere were loads of times when I thought I was going to drop out but when I got out of there I felt like no one is going to bring me down.\u201d<\/p>\n
