Giovanna Fletcher charmed audiences and her fellow castle-mates during her winning time on I'm A Celebrity, which is due back on screens soon.

The 38-year-old mum of three missed out a jungle experience due to the Covid travel restrictions but beat the likes of Jordan North and Vernon Kay to be crowned Queen of the Castle in 2020.

As the latest series of the ITV show teases its imminent return, Giovanna revealed exclusively to OK! her winning advice for the new 2023 campmates.

She also reflected on what the win meant to her and the rest of the Fletcher family – including her McFly husband Tom Fletcher, 38.

“I’ve always loved the show," she told us. "When it gets to that really lovely time of year in the lead-up to Christmas and it’s getting darker at night, we snuggle in and watch it."

After viewers voted off castle residents including Strictly Come Dancing's AJ Pritchard and EastEnders actor Shane Richie, Giovanna was left in the top three with Vernon and radio DJ Jordan.

While bookies switched between Giovanna and Jordan as favourites to win, Giovanna ultimately took home the Castle crown – delighting her three sons at home – Buzz, now nine, Buddy, seven, and five-year-old Max.

Offering her top tips to the celebrities tipped to be flying to Australia any day now, Giovanna told OK!: "My advice to anyone going in is to just be yourself.

"You’re there for three weeks so make the most of it and don’t take it too seriously. Because when else are you going to do anything like that again?”.

Famous names rumoured to be heading to the jungle to join presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly include This Morning presenter Josie Gibson, former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold and former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson.

Other famous faces linked to the hit show this year are former politician Nigel Farage and former This Morning host Philip Schofield, who left the show in May after admitting an affair with a younger colleague.

And Giovanna, who has recently released an album of music and sounds to help babies sleep, has two words for anyone offered the chance to take part – do it! "For me, it was an incredible time in my life, I absolutely loved it," she said.

Since winning the show, the star's profile has grown hugely. As well as continuing to record her weekly Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast she also undertakes gruelling treks for the CoppaFeel! breast cancer awareness charity.

Discussing the worthwhile work, Giovanna said: "It’s challenging emotionally and mentally as well as physically, but seeing people overcome different obstacles is incredible.

"It’s the most rewarding, life affirming thing ever. And the chats we have are massive, there’s something about walking that just opens your heart and words come tumbling out."
