AMAZON is currently offering an eye-catching deal on a major Android smartphone.<\/p>\n
Shoppers are currently dashing to pick up the Google Pixel 7, which has been reduced from \u00a3599 to \u00a3407 in a 32% price drop.<\/p>\n

We spotted this discount on Amazon's best-selling mobiles page – always a good place to go scouting for great deals on SIM-free handsets.<\/p>\n
With a discount of almost \u00a3200, we're not exactly surprised this has proved a major hit with Amazon shoppers.<\/p>\n
The last time we saw this 2022 release from Google on sale was mid-October, when the Pixel 7 fell to a record low of \u00a3405 for Amazon Prime Day.<\/p>\n

This new sale price isn't quite<\/em> as good – but hey, we're talking about a couple of quid here.<\/p>\n
Google has really stepped up to the bat in the past few years with its formidable line of Android smartphones (the Pixel 7 was released in October 2022, and was only supplanted as flagship a month ago).<\/p>\n
They're never quite captivated the industry in the same way as Samsung's S series or Apple's iPhones. <\/p>\n
But one standout features that the last few generations of Pixel have all possessed is a very impressive price tag, with SIM-free RRPs considerable lower than that of equivalent models from rival brands.<\/p>\n
(By contrast, the iPhone 14, which was released a month before the Pixel 7, costs \u00a3649 SIM-free on Amazon.)<\/p>\n
Now a generation old, the Pixel 7 has shaped up to be one of the foremost options for Android buyers who are looking a handset with a credible range of up-to-date features, but are still spending on a fairly tight budget.<\/p>\n
It's currently got an average rating of 4.3 out of 5 on Amazon, with reviews largely positive.<\/p>\n
One shoppers says: 'As soon as you boot up the Pixel 7 you can feel the quality of it, from the keyboard to the camera… The camera takes crystal-clear pictures with plenty of functionality for more advanced video and picture-taking.'<\/p>\n
Another is more reserved about the battery performance, remarking it drains more quickly than expect, but also concedes that the Pixel 7 is the 'best-value phone on the market'.<\/p>\n
Another buyer writes: 'I'm really enjoying my first week with my Pixel 7… beautiful rich OLED screen which gives true blacks.'<\/p>\n
It's not impossible that this mobile will get cheaper during the Black Friday sales at the end of November – but if it does, our guess is not by that much.<\/p>\n

By coincidence last week we covered an excellent pay-monthly plan from Vodafone offering the Pixel 7 for \u00a325 per month and \u00a30 upfront.<\/p>\n
If you're hunting for an out-and-out budget option, we'd point you towards the older Pixel 6, which hit the market a year earlier and currently costs \u00a3332 on Amazon.<\/p>\n
