A former Saturday Night Live comedy writer has been slammed after he appeared to mock Matthew Perry’s death on social media.<\/p>\n
Kevnin Brennan, who used to work for SNL, wrote “DROWNED IN A HOT TUB. HAHAHAHA” on X. It came as he shared news of the popular Friends star’s death aged 54.<\/p>\n
Brennan later appeared to not just stand by his post but doubled down when quizzed. After being criticised for mocking the 54-year-old’s death, Brennan added: “I didn\u2019t mock it.<\/p>\n
“I just thought it was funny. But I do love it when junkies die.”<\/p>\n

He is the older sibling of Neal Brennan – the writer and co-creator of\u00a0Chappelle’s Show.<\/p>\n Although celebrity website TMZ reports the pair are estranged. His post has since received backlasgh from Matthew Perry fans.<\/p>\n One person wrote:\u00a0“Never heard of this a****** til tonight.
