<\/p>\nNetflix will be dropping its high-concept new crime drama Bodies on October 19.<\/p>\n
All eight episodes will be available to binge in one go with the series likely to appeal to fans of Netflix\u2019s German sci-fi series Dark.<\/p>\n
Bodies is based on the graphic novel by Si Spencer and is being billed by the streaming giant as a \u201cpolice procedural with a twist\u201d.<\/p>\n
The show is set in London with the same mysterious body turning on Longharvest Land in the East End in 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2053.<\/p>\n
Four different detectives on the case will try to solve this strange corpse and what it all means with the case linked across 150 years.<\/p>\n

1890<\/strong><\/p>\n Alfred Hillinghead – Kyle Soller<\/strong><\/p>\n Kyle Soller takes on the role of Victorian detective Alfred Hillinghead solving the case during the era of Jack the Ripper in Whitechapel no less.<\/p>\n The star is best known for his roles in BBC\u2019s Poldark, Andor on Disney Plus. The Titan and Brexit: The Uncivil War.<\/p>\n Henry Ashe – George Parker<\/strong><\/p>\n In the role of Star journalist Henry Ashe is actor George Parker after roles in Netflix\u2019s Shadow and Bone, Pennyworth and Doctors.<\/p>\n Ladbroke – Andrew Whipp<\/strong><\/p>\n Andrew Whipp stars as forensics officer Ladbroke with the star known for his parts in Outlander, Shetland, Six Four and Cursed.<\/p>\n 1941<\/strong><\/p>\n Charlie Whiteman – Jacob Fortune-Lloyd<\/strong><\/p>\n Jacob Fortune-Lloyd leads as the main detective in 1941 with viewers recognising him for his appearance in Hulu\u2019s The Great, The Power on Amazon Prime Video, Wolf Hall and The Queen\u2019s Gambit.<\/p>\n Calloway – Derek Riddell<\/strong><\/p>\n Joining him as his superior Calloway is Derek Riddell, who has also appeared in The Missing, Happy Valley, Gentleman Jack, Industry and A Confession.<\/p>\n Don’t miss… <\/strong> 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n Shahara Hasan – Amaka Okafor<\/strong><\/p>\n Amaka Okafor stars as modern-day detective Shahara Hasan after parts in The Responder and Des with Bodies being her most prominent role to date.<\/p>\n DCI Jack Barber – Michael Jibson<\/strong><\/p>\n Michael Jibson appears as her colleague DCI Jack Barber with the star counting credits in The Essex Serpent on Apple TV+, The Reckoning, Quiz on ITV and 1917, among many other parts.<\/p>\n Syed Tahir – Chaneil Kular<\/strong><\/p>\n Chaneil Kular plays the mysterious Syed Tahir, who has a link to the body, with the actor most famous for his part as Anwar Bakshi in Sex Education.<\/p>\n Maggie Skinner – Alexandra Roach<\/strong><\/p>\n Alexandra Roach stars as another of Shahara\u2019s fellow officers Maggie Skinner and has appeared in Utopia, The Light in the Hall, No Offence, Black Mirror and Sanditon.<\/p>\n DI Goodman – Tim Downie<\/strong><\/p>\n Tim Downie is fellow police officer DI Goodman and has previously starred in Outlander, Toast of London, Good Omens, Hapless and Housebound.<\/p>\n We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you’ve consented to and to improve our understanding of you.
