The Big Brother house was reportedly 'locked down' after a security breach on Thursday.

The 16 housemates, who only entered the brand new Big Brother house on Sunday night when the show made it's highly anticipated return to screens, were ordered to remain indoors when the alert rocked the security teams working around the TV studios.

A YouTuber had attempted to fly a drone over the Big Brother house, trying to scour the studios for an secret inside look.

According to The Sun, a man claimed he had also somehow hacked into their radio systems and managed to listen into crew conversations.

Worried staff are thought to have confronted the man who was attempting to fly the device over the protective walls around the Big Brother house.

But bosses behind the scenes were said to be alarmed and stunned by the man's claims that he managed to 'hack the radio system' and were desperate to prevent him reaching the set.

However, when security were called to the scene, the man reportedly refused to leave. A source told the publication that the man argued: "I will defend myself".

It is unclear how long the Big Brother house was put on lockdown – however The Sun's report also claims the man in question was identified as a YouTube star.

A Big Brother spokesperson told OK!: "We have robust and rigorous security measures in place across our site for the safety of the Big Brother house, production team and Housemates. Safety and welfare is always a priority."

It's a stark reminder of when intruders, YouTube bloggers Ally Law and Ryan Taylor, claimed to have broken into the Celebrity Big Brother house and filmed the housemates through the glass doors back in 2018.

Since kicking off last Sunday, Big Brother, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, has already given viewers plenty of memorable moments from heartwarming revelations to explosive arguments to quirky eating habits.

Farida and Kerry are the first Big Brother housemates up for eviction and could be leaving the house during the first live axing on tonight.

After only living together for a few days, the housemates each had to decide who to nominate with Kerry and Farida receiving the most votes.

The nominations were revealed on Big Brother: Late and Live and viewers were shown a short clip of Big Brother telling the housemates who would be facing the public vote.

And despite being told that they could potentially be axed from the house, neither Kerry nor Farida appeared to be shocked by their fellow housemate's decision.

The nominations come following a rather dramatic first week in the iconic house, with a feud starting between Farida and Kerryduring the recent shopping task, and fans predicting a potential romance between Zak and Noky.
