FormerStrictly Come Dancing<\/u>professionalBrendan Cole<\/u>has had his say onAmanda Abbington<\/u>'s Salsa calling it \u201cweird\u201d and admitting it \u201cdoesn't excite me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amanda and Giovanni Pernice<\/u> performed to Oye by Gloria Estefan and scored a grand total of 32 for their routine, after being an eight by the four judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke.<\/p>\n

But while the judges may have enjoyed the routine, Brendan slammed the inclusion of lifts and claimed it "fell off towards the end".<\/p>\n

He explained: "Lifts never excite me \u2013 it's not a tricky thing to do for a professional dancer so that kind of thing doesn't excite me.<\/p>\n

"It's a weird look it's not particularly elegant. It's not the kind of thing I'd do, but they got their cheeky laugh and they got there. They got their moment, but I do think she did a great number."<\/p>\n

Speaking to Sky Bingo<\/u> , the 47 year old explained Amanda was \u201camazing\u201d but the dance \u201cfell off towards the end.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe flagged towards the end, and the judges didn't pick that up, which I found interesting," Brendan continued. "That was one of the key things about her number, it started powerfully, she was amazing and she looked fantastic.<\/p>\n

"Then suddenly, it fell off towards the end. All they could talk about were the fantastic lifts \u2013 they did do one or two really nice lifts."<\/p>\n

It comes after Amanda took to Instagram toclear up rumours she and Giovanni<\/u>had rows which almost caused her to quit. However she told fans: \u201cIt\u2019s all good.\u201d <\/p>\n

Ina sweary rant, she said: \u201cIgnoring the bulls***, because clearly people are t****.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust stop it, stop it, grow up. No one gives a s**t. Shut up, it\u2019s b*****ks, so f*** off. You know who I\u2019m talking to as well. Come on, jog on, it\u2019s nonsense and you know it\u2019s nonsense. It\u2019s all good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Giovanni also took to his Instagram to seemingly quash the rumours and said that he was \u201cextremely proud\u201d of her.<\/p>\n

He wrote: "I usually don't say those things early (as probably everybody knows) but I am extremely proud of you and I can't wait for people to watch what we have created."<\/p>\n

This weekend, Amanda and Giovanni will be hoping to impress the judges with their Rumba to Out Of Reach from Bridget Jones for Movie Week.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
