In a career spanning over 35 years, there's not much that Frankie Dettori hasn't done when it comes to his racing career. But it seems he may be looking to venture out of his comfort zone and try his hand at jungle life.

The sporting star, who has been British flat racing Champion Jockey three time, is said to be in 'advanced talks' to join ITV's upcoming season of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, which will be returning in a matter of months.

"Frankie is a superstar signing for jungle casting producers as he is a legend in the horse racing world and would be reality TV gold," an insider told The Sun.

The continued: "He might be pint-sized, but his personality is larger than life and he has real charm and a sense of humour. Frankie would be brilliant in the Bushtucker Trials too as being competitive is second nature to him."

While the source assures that Frankie has "a wealth of stories" for his fellow campmates, and would be able to get used to the camp's basic meals due to his experience keeping his weight down for his work.

OK! has contacted Frankie's representatives for comment.

It wouldn't be the first reality TV stint for Frankie, and would come ten years after he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 – living in the house alongside stars such as Rylan and Spencer and Heidi Pratt.

He became the fifth star to leave the house just days before the final, and admitted to finding the experience 'emotionally challenging' as he isn't one for conflict.

Frankie has had his fair share of career wins, including being awarded an honorary MBE for services to sport in 2000, but is also a dad to five children.

While it hasn't been revealed who would be joining him if Frankie was to head down under, First Dates star https://www.ok.co.uk/tv/fred-sirieix-im-a-celeb-30956207 is also said to be in talks to enter the show.

And Paris Fury, who is married to heavyweight boxer Tyson, revealed that she has been approached by ITV for the show this year during an appearance on Lorraine last week.

She said: "I actually got a call recently just a couple of days ago and they said: 'I know she's just had a baby' and, by the way, the baby was about five days old. They said: 'But would she consider coming to the jungle in the next few weeks?'.

"I was like 'No. No, no no'."
