{"id":67127,"date":"2023-09-26T18:38:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-26T18:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordcelnews.com\/?p=67127"},"modified":"2023-09-26T18:38:59","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T18:38:59","slug":"8-mile-star-nashawn-breedlove-dies-aged-46","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordcelnews.com\/entertainment\/8-mile-star-nashawn-breedlove-dies-aged-46\/","title":{"rendered":"8 Mile star Nashawn Breedlove dies aged 46"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/SEI_173391186-900d.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Nashawn Breedlove has died at the age of 46.<\/p>\n<p>The star, who famously appeared opposite Eminem in 8 Mile, died on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>His family confirmed the sad news of their loss to TMZ, explaining that he died at his home in New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p>According to the outlet, his family have yet to learn his cause of death.<\/p>\n<p>Breedlove came to fame thanks to his musical talents, rapping under the stage name, Ox.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to appear on the soundtrack of The Wash, in 2001, with the track, Don\u2019t Talk S**t.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<p>The star was placed alongside huge names on the album, including Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, D12, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg \u2013 with Snoop and Dr Dre also starring in the comedy.<\/p>\n<p>The following year, Breedlove played Lotto in 8 Mile, who took on Eminem\u2019s B-Rabbit in a rap battle that the latter went on to win.<\/p>\n<p>Kim Basinger, Mekhi Phifer, Brittany Murphy, Taryn Manning and Evan Jones also made up the cast.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitvids-video\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"8 Mile Official Trailer #1 - (2002) HD\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/axGVrfwm9L4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Following the sad news of Breedlove\u2019s death, fans rushed to offer their condolences on social media.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Rest in Peace Nashawn Breedlove aka \u201cLotto\u201d from 8 Mile,\u2019 one penned. \u2018This the only dude that ever beat Eminem in a battle.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\"><\/p>\n<p>\u2018Damn.
