ABC’s hit chat show The View left viewers disappointed after co-host Whoopi Goldberg missed a key segment as she ironically got distracted by discussing how a previous feature was lost.

During the live programme, the 67-year-old introduced a new part of the show to discuss ESPN+’s new series Skin in the Game.

As a clip played, she talked about the show but when a panellist asked when it aired Whoopi confessed: “I don’t know when it starts because they didn’t tell me.”

However, this was quickly sorted as a nearby producer laughed and revealed the show aired “today.”

To which the comedian quipped: “You don’t always write the information down, this is what happens when we don’t have adults in charge.”
