<\/p>\nStrictly Come Dancing star Les Dennis is desperate to be reincarnated.<\/p>\n
The TV legend, 69, says he is convinced we aren\u2019t gone for good when we die and after he goes, he wants to come back as a member of his family \u2014 a descendent of himself.<\/p>\n
He said: "I believe that we come back in some way in our families. I don\u2019t want to come back too soon, because I don\u2019t want my daughter to be my mum. But I\u2019d like to come back a few generations from now, in my own family\u2026 in the clan."<\/p>\n

Les is desperate for it to happen so he can find out what happens to his loved ones and what they really think of him when he\u2019s gone.<\/p>\n

He added: "I am obsessed with myself. I want to be able to look up and ask my kids, \u2018What was I like? What was your grandad like?\u2019 I want to hear about me."<\/p>\n
Asked if he\u2019s bothered how he returns, he said: "I don\u2019t know\u2026 binary or non-binary\u2026 girl, boy, I don\u2019t mind. Just a member of the family." When Les was born in 1953, his family – including his mum Winnie – thought it was his late brother reincarnated as a new person.<\/p>\n

He said: "My brother had died not long before I was born. He was eight months old. Died of pneumonia. When I was born, everyone said, 'Winnie, you have got him back'. I had to be the good boy for my mum because I was living up to this image.\u201d<\/p>\n
Les is taking part in Strictly because he wants a new challenge at 69.<\/p>\n
He said: "I was in the mix for Strictly, and then I heard from my agent I\u2019d got it, and I called my wife and she cried \u2013 but in a good way. She didn\u2019t cry going, \u2018Don\u2019t do it!\u2019"<\/p>\n
