Russell Brand has been accused of pinning a woman down as she refused to have sex with him.

The comedian, 48, is at the centre of allegations of rape and sexual assault from multiple women following an investigation by Channel 4 Dispatches and The Times.

He has denied all accusations and says all his relationships have been consensual.

Now another woman has come forward, alleging that Brand pinned her down and got a ‘glazed look’ in his eye, something alleged by several women in the investigation, as he allegedly told her: ‘This is what you’re here for.’

The woman, who has asked to remain anonymous, spoke to The Sun about the alleged incident, which she says took place in 2008 when she was 21.

She claimed she and a friend were asked to perform sexual acts on each other, and when they refused and her friend left in anger, Brand began pestering her for sex and was ‘holding her down.’

The woman said she first met the actor at London’s Soho Theatre after one of his shows, and later in Chelsea, where she and a friend were invited upstairs for drinks, where she tripped and he helped her up but was ‘so close to me’ and ‘really leery’.

She claims they exchanged numbers and, after requests from Brand, she sent him a picture in her bra; later, after another show in West London, she says she and a friend were invited upstairs again.

She told the outlet she was expecting to be led into a bar but ended up in his dressing room, and claimed Brand began pestering her and her friend to perform sexual acts on each other, saying ‘you know you want to do it’ and ‘this is what you’re here for.’

Her friend became angry and left, and the woman says Brand then forced her onto the sofa though she was ‘pushing him off’ and saying she had to leave to find her friend.

‘He was kissing me on my neck and holding me down… telling me to stay,’ she said, claiming it lasted for around 10 minutes.

She added: ‘He became nasty very, very fast. He started saying “Don’t you know who I am? Why wouldn’t you want to do this’?”

Brand then allegedly told her to leave, and later sent her an apology for being ‘so persistent,’ to which she allegedly replied that he cannot pressure people ‘if someone says no.’

She said she never heard from him again, and did not contact police as she feared they would not take it seriously, but last weekend’s investigation ‘brought it all back.’

Brand has been accused of what he himself called ‘very serious allegations’ by multiple women, including one who claimed she was 16 years old at the time.

Before the Times piece was published, followed by a Channel 4 documentary hours later, Brand had taken to Twitter, aka X, where he said he ‘absolutely refutes very serious allegations’ being made against him.

While the allegations had not yet been published at the time, he said he had been approached by a mainstream TV network and a mainstream newspaper with ‘extremely disturbing’ correspondence listing ‘a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks.’

Amid some ‘stupid stuff’ in the correspondence, including, he said, that he ‘shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives,’ were ‘some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.’
