{"id":66957,"date":"2023-09-20T20:35:01","date_gmt":"2023-09-20T20:35:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordcelnews.com\/?p=66957"},"modified":"2023-09-20T20:35:01","modified_gmt":"2023-09-20T20:35:01","slug":"brian-austin-green-claims-vanessa-marcil-kept-son-from-him-while-he-was-recovering-like-a-stroke-survivor-from-vertigo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordcelnews.com\/celebrities\/brian-austin-green-claims-vanessa-marcil-kept-son-from-him-while-he-was-recovering-like-a-stroke-survivor-from-vertigo\/","title":{"rendered":"Brian Austin Green Claims Vanessa Marcil Kept Son From Him While He Was Recovering &#039;Like A Stroke Survivor&#039; From Vertigo!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Brian Austin Green<\/strong> is opening up about co-parenting.<\/p>\n<p>During Tuesday&#8217;s episode of his <em>Old-ish<\/em> podcast, the <em>Fish Without a Bicycle<\/em> actor shared that his co-parenting dynamic with his FIRST baby momma <strong>Vanessa Marcil<\/strong>, whom he met on <em>Beverly Hills, 90210<\/em>, has been \u201cdifficult from the beginning.\u201d If you didn\u2019t know, he shares 21-year-old son <strong>Kassius<\/strong> with Vanessa, in addition to <strong>Noah<\/strong>, 10, <strong>Bodhi<\/strong>, 9, and <strong>Journey<\/strong>, 7, with ex-wife <strong>Megan Fox<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; and most recently, <strong>Zane<\/strong>, 1, whom he welcomed with current love <strong>Sharna Burgess<\/strong> last summer. And it sounds like his newest baby momma ain\u2019t all that fond of his first!<\/p>\n<p>Sharna shared on the podcast episode that the actor\u2019s debilitating vertigo, which he suffered from for years, made it \u201cvery difficult\u201d for him to see Kassius, and that Vanessa didn\u2019t make it any easier:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose years that he wasn\u2019t able to go see Kassisus, Vanessa made no effort to make sure Brian got time with him. Instead, she painted him as an absent father who chose not to be around for him. And I\u2019m sure that information was fed to Kass, and I can\u2019t imagine how damaging that was for him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oof.<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa has for years made it seem like she raised their son alone, which Brian called her out for back in February, and again now because she \u201cknew\u201d how severely he was affected by the medical condition. He said on the podcast:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo then find out after the fact that at the point when I started getting better, that she then was painting it that I had abandoned Kass during that time, when the reality was I was dealing with such brain fog in what I was going through.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jeez, how bad exactly was his vertigo?? Well, truly awful apparently! According to Austin, he was forced to handle the recovery process \u201clike a stroke survivor would,\u201d having to relearn to talk, walk, and write.<\/p>\n<p>OMG! Poor guy\u2026 He added in retrospect:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would\u2019ve meant so much if Vanessa had decided \u2018Hey, I\u2019m going to make sure while you\u2019re going through this that your son can still get to your house and see you.\u2019 That would\u2019ve just made an incredible difference in the situation. But that\u2019s not what went down, that\u2019s not how it happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wow.<\/p>\n<p>Through the years, Brian said he\u2019s attempted to make \u201ca real concerted effort\u201d to make Kassius\u2019 life \u201cas stable and normal as possible,\u201d even after he and Vanessa split in 2003 and he moved on with Megan Fox the following year. Lucky for him, co-parenting with the <em>Transformers<\/em> actress has been a much smoother process, as he continues to make abundantly clear. He shared about Megan:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe co-parent really well together. When we need to, we communicate really well, we are open to things, we don\u2019t take things personally. It is my goal, and I think it\u2019s her goal as well, that the kids are in as healthy environment as they can be in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sharna agreed, adding that she and BAG&#8217;s most recent ex also get along \u201creally well\u201d:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are lucky because we have a great relationship.
