<\/p>\nAmanda Holden is so saucy pals call her \u201cCarry On Mandy\u201d after the comedy films. <\/p>\n
The Britain\u2019s Got Talent judge, 52, loves cheeky jokes and innuendo. <\/p>\n
For years she\u2019s been a big fan of Carry On because of its British humour and sexy moments.<\/p>\n

And she\u2019d love nothing more than to star in one of the flicks herself.<\/p>\n
She told the Daily Star Sunday: \u201cI\u2019m known as Carry On Mandy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d love to be in a Carry On film. I\u2019d be the Barbara Windsor character, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
In recent years it has emerged there are plans to revive the Carry On franchise for two new movies.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They were originally expected to hit cinemas in 2017, but are still yet to be made after a string of issues.<\/p>\n
Carry On flicks were famous for their gags about sex.<\/p>\n
One of the most famous moments is when the late Dame Barbara\u2019s bikini top flew off in 1969 instalment Carry On Camping.<\/p>\n
Amanda reckons it\u2019s her love for the films that helped her land a job fronting a new series about sex.<\/p>\n

The mum-of-two said: \u201cThis show came up on my radar because I\u2019m very Carry On Mandy.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe series is a very tongue-in-cheek, light way to look at sex. It is very Carry On. That will be why they asked me to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amanda even got to do her own Carry On-style photoshoot to promote the series, Sex: A Bonkers History, which starts Monday (September 18) on Sky History.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
It sees her dress up as Egyptian queen Cleopatra by sitting naked in a bathtub \u2014 just like Amanda Barrie did in Carry on Cleo in 1964.<\/p>\n
And she admits it was a massive thrill for her.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI was Cleopatra\u2026 I mean, I was like, \u2018Yes, I am living my best life\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amanda is hoping her new series will get Brits talking about sex.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cIt\u2019s got a sense of humour and a sense of playfulness but also contains serious historical information.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the show I go, \u2018Do try this at home!\u2019 I\u2019ve said that a lot!\u201d<\/p>\n
