Fearne Cotton appears to have unfollowed Russell Brand on social media after he was accused of sexual assault, rape, and emotional abuse by several women. <\/p>\n
As well as appearing on each other\u2019s podcasts over the years, Fearne, 42, and Brand, 48, have a personal connection as his wife \u2013 and mother of his two children \u2013 is the Happy Place podcaster\u2019s good friend, Laura Gallacher. <\/p>\n
Fearne previously dubbed Laura her \u2018best mate\u2019 and an \u2018amazing, amazing human being\u2019 in an interview with The Mirror. <\/p>\n
Brand was a guest speaker on Fearne\u2019s Happy Place wellness festival back in 2019, and he also appeared on an episode of her podcast of the same name, which is now nowhere to be found. <\/p>\n
As well as seemingly deleting the podcast episode, Fearne appears to have unfollowed Brand on Instagram. <\/p>\n
On Saturday the allegations were made public through a joint investigation by Channel 4\u2019s Dispatches, The Times and The Sunday Times. That afternoon, Fearne still followed the comic. <\/p>\n

Fearne previously appeared on Brand\u2019s Under The Skin podcast back in 2020, on which she discussed fame and mental health. <\/p>\n
When Brand\u2019s dog died last year, Fearne was one of his celebrity friends to comment, as per Birmingham Mail, as she wrote: \u2018Sending you all the love. She was so special.\u2019 <\/p>\n
This comes as other celebrities have spoken out in light of the allegations, one involving a woman who claimed to be 16 when she was allegedly assaulted by Brand, who she said was in his thirties at the time. <\/p>\n
Controversial TV presenter Piers Morgan said he was \u2018shocked\u2019 at the allegations against Brand, who he said he was texting just \u2018weeks\u2019 ago. <\/p>\n

In light of the allegations, presenter Vanessa Feltz reminisced about a time Brand asked her \u2013 on national TV \u2013 whether he could \u2018have it off with either you or your daughters?\u2019<\/p>\n
Brand staunchly denied all allegations made against him in a pre-emptive video on his YouTube channel just before the joint investigation was published. <\/p>\n
This morning, YouTube suspended\u00a0the Get Him To The Greek star from monetising his video content for \u2018violating Creator Responsibility policy\u2019 after the \u2018serious allegations.\u2019<\/p>\n
His remaining tour dates have also been postponed. <\/p>\n
Brand and Laura married in 2017 in Henley-on-Thames and share two daughters \u2013 Mabel and Peggy \u2013 and are expecting a third.<\/p>\n
He was previously married to singer Katy Perry. <\/p>\n
