LORRAINE fans have vented their fury at a "disgusting" festive segment amid the cost of living crisis.<\/p>\n

Viewers of the ITV daytime series took to X formerly known as Twitter in their droves on Wednesday after a section from money expert Claer Barrett.<\/p>\n

\n<\/p>\n

Claer was chatting to anchor Lorraine Kelly, 63, about ways to manage Christmas finances such as arranging with family about who is buying presents for who to avoid excess spending.<\/p>\n

She also suggested buying one present a week in the run up to the big day to help prepare, as well as putting aside \u00a310 a week to help lessen the financial blow in December.<\/p>\n

One fan took to social media to rage at the Lorraine segment dubbed Claer's Christmas Club.<\/p>\n

They took fire at the show mentioning the pricey annual celebrations amid the current cost of living struggles in the UK.<\/p>\n

They wrote: "I think its disgusting the way you've dropped xmas in on #lorraine like we don't have enough stress. It's still summer. <\/p>\n

"You can't wait for us to buy into the next thing can you. Thanks for the added stress today."<\/p>\n

Another agreed and put: "I understand the segment on Lorraine about saving for Christmas but they don\u2019t realise how poor some of us actually are – they\u2019re suggesting to save \u00a310 a week, most families don\u2019t have \u00a340 a month to save in these times that is a budget supermarket shop!!"<\/p>\n

One then continued: "Lorraine wifey talking about #christmas tips for 'managing the cost.' Suggests if you save \u00a310\/week, that\u2019s \u00a3130 by Christmas. <\/p>\n
