And the 51-year-old laughed that it meant he\u2019d have to up his game when it comes to feeding his family. \u201cThe kids will love this, they\u2019ll be like \u2018Dad! I can\u2019t believe you did it when all you cook for us is beans on toast\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
Married Wynne, said the win felt \u201cbrilliant\u201d and gave credit to hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode, declaring: \u201cThe experience has totally changed my life. It has just been beautiful and I can\u2019t thank Gregg and John and everybody here at MasterChef enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

I have never seen a celebrity like him ever before and I\u2019m not sure we ever will again,\u201d he laughed.<\/p>\n Torode agreed: \u201cEvery single dish tells a story. His food, it\u2019s exciting, it\u2019s ambitious, and it\u2019s got a little bit of artistic flare. More info<\/p>\n Wynne\u2019s winning menu featured a starter of Carmarthen-Japanese sumo tuna tartare with avocado, edamame beans and wasabi, served with deep-fried cockle popcorn and a mango egg; followed by a main course of bread of Evans cannon of lamb, served on samphire with wild garlic, porcini mushrooms and lamb rendered fried bread, with pomme dauphine and a fondant leek, finished with a red wine and red currant jus; and for dessert, Bara Brith with Caerphilly cheese and fig jam, served with brie ice cream on crumbled Bara Brith and poached figs.<\/p>\n Describing his creations, Wynne said: \u201cI think these dishes represent everything that I am \u2013 local produce, stuff that I can easily get at home, and everything that I like to eat.\u201d<\/p>\n It followed the finalists having to cook for the Chef\u2019s Table – which was this year hosted by Robin Gill, at his restaurant Darby\u2019s.<\/p>\n They were tasked with producing food of an exceptional standard for expert guests including Robin\u2019s mentor, Raymond Blanc (Le Manoir aux Quat\u2019Saisons), Daniel Clifford (Midsummer House), Anna Haugh (Myrtle), Nieves Barragan Mohacho (Sabor) and Matt Gillan (Heritage).<\/p>\n Wynne follows in the footsteps of previous winners including Lisa Snowdon, Greg Rutherford, Angellica Bell, Kimberly Wyatt and Ade Edmondson.<\/p>\n Earlier winner Lisa Faulkner is now married to Torode.<\/p>\n
