With the Pixel 7, Google prioritized a more advanced camera and a long-lasting battery life, both of which gave it an edge in the marketplace. Exactly a year after the release of that device, Google will be putting out its next iteration in its Pixel smartphone lineup.<\/p>\n
The company has offered its first look at the Pixel 8. Design-wise, the phone looks pretty similar to the Pixel 7, with the same rectangular shape and metal band holding the cameras and flashlight. On the back side of the phone is a subtle \u201cG\u201d logo.<\/p>\n
Google didn\u2019t share any specs or details for the Pixel 8 in the less than 30-second teaser which merely pans around the phone. It does, however, give viewers a close-up of the camera system and side buttons.<\/p>\n
Like the Pixel 7, the Pixel 8 will be available in both a standard version and a Pro edition. The video shows colorways in a cream shade and rose gold. It\u2019s likely Google will provide the same storage options it has in the past with options for 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.<\/p>\n
The Google Pixel 8 will receive an official reveal \u2013 and simultaneously open for pre-order \u2013 on October 4.<\/p>\n
