Owen Warner and his co-star girlfriend Jemma Donovan have reportedly split just a few months after going public with their romance.<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks star Owen, who came second when he appeared in I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here! last year, seemingly confirmed the relationship when he posted a loved-up snap with Jemma back in April.<\/p>\n

Jemma, who is the daughter of Aussie soap legend Jason Donovan, and Owen were pictured cuddling up as they grinned at the camera.<\/p>\n

They later made their red carpet debut at the British Soap Awards on 3 June.<\/p>\n

In pictures from the event, the pair looked all smiles as they wore matching red outfits – but it looks the relationship has already cooled.<\/p>\n

A source, speaking to The Sun, claimed that the pair had decided they were better off as friends: \u201cThey had great fun together but, long term, decided it's better to just be friends. They are both super-professional, so it won't change anything at work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Owen made his first appearance on Hollyoaks back in 2018, when he was first cast as local heartthrob Romeo Nightingale.<\/p>\n

Jemma joined the show as Rayne Royce, one of a group of twenty-somethings that have moved into a houseshare, in January 2023.<\/p>\n

Rayne proved an immediate hit in town and had brothers Prince and Hunter McQueen fighting for her affections.<\/p>\n

But the character, who is described as a \u201cparty girl\u201d and a \u201csocial media sensation\u201d, only had eyes for one man – Owen\u2019s character Romeo.<\/p>\n

Rayne and Romeo hit it off, and their gooey declarations of love proved to be a viral hit among her half a million online followers.<\/p>\n

But, like their relationship off-screen, things went downhill for their characters\u2019 romance.<\/p>\n

Rayne wound up insulting Romeo\u2019s mother, while her glamorous career started tanking when she fell for an online scam.<\/p>\n

Things only got worse for the newcomer when intimate photos of her were leaked.<\/p>\n

All in all, it\u2019s not looking good for Jemma\u2019s character, whose life has been plagued by issues since she moved in – and new spoilers suggest that the trend is set to continue.<\/p>\n

In upcoming episodes, it looks like Rayne is set to physically assault her beau in a heated showdown after he tries to confront her over blackmailing his pals.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
