KOURTNEY Kardashian and Travis Barker's family and friends gathered in Italy for their wedding, but one major player was absent.
The Poosh founder's brother Rob Kardashian missed the special day, and we finally know why.
According to Us Weekly, Rob's decision not to attend the wedding wasn't personal.
A source told the outlet Kourtney's only brother, 35, "really wanted to be there for Kourtney's special day."
The insider added, however, that he didn't want the extra attention.
Us' source said: "He is still very much private and prefers low-key celebrations where there aren't a lot of photographers.

"He doesn't like being in the spotlight. The whole affair would have been too much for him."
According to the outlet, Rob "supported Kourtney from afar."
Rather than attend the wedding, the Arthur George founder stayed home with his daughter Dream, five.
His sisters and mom Kris Jenner shared several photos with him from the celebration.

NOTHING BUT LOVE
The same insider told Us: "He loves his sister very much and is so happy for her and Travis.
"He also hopped on FaceTime to chat with his sisters while they were in Italy."
Kourtney and Travis' wedding comes just weeks after Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner were awarded a legal victory over Rob's ex Blac Chyna in a bombshell defamation case.
Although his siblings are no longer in hot water, Rob has yet to have his final face-off with Chyna in court.
He was part of the heated trial over Rob & Chyna's cancellation but still has to stand trial in a revenge porn case against him.
Earlier the month, The Sun exclusively reported that a judge set that trial for June.
Rob is being sued by his baby mama after he allegedly leaked nude photos of her during their 2017 split, which took a nasty turn and played out online.
The exes will come together in court on June 13 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Downtown Los Angeles.
Rob will be represented by Todd Eagen, while Chyna will stick with Lynne Ciani – the same lawyer that repped her in her $100M lawsuit against the Kardashian family.
The Instagram model accused the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alums of defaming her and ruining her career.
The revenge porn allegations were split into a separate trial, initially set to begin on May 5.
In her initial filing, Chyna claimed she suffered "significant damages" after her ex's social media rampage on July 5, 2017, in which he shared three lewd images of her on Instagram.
In the online rant, he also accused the mother of his young daughter Dream, 5, of cheating on him, and claimed Chyna was taking drugs and abusing alcohol, which she has denied.
Rob, who rarely leaves the house due to a battle with social anxiety, dropped his own lawsuit against his ex following their toxic relationship, but may still have to testify in her case.
He took to the stand during his family's trial and appeared emotional as he recounted their alleged violent relationship, in which he claimed Chyna beat him with a six-foot metal pole and put a gun to his head during an argument in late 2016.
Wearing a dark loose-fitting shirt and pants, he was seen by The Sun's reporter nervously mopping his head with a towel as he fielded questions from her attorney Ciani.
Talking about the pair getting together, he said: "I was probably at the worst place in my life, and me reaching out to her I was in my weakest, worst point."
A jury sided with the Kardashians in the case and decided not to award her damages, as Chyna sat in stunned silence after the verdict was read out.
Following their victory, the Kardashian team, led by Michael Rhodes and Michelle Doolin, reacted as they said: "On behalf of Kris, Kim, Khloe, and Kylie, I want to express our appreciation to the jury.
"We are also grateful for the steady hand of Judge Alarcon in making sure that this was a fair trial.
"The jury sent a clear message to Ms. [Angela] White and her lawyer — I hope they are listening."
Rob's ex has more on her plate than just her legal battle against him and his family.
After the trial, she found herself in hot water once again when she was accused of battery in Los Angeles.
Police told TMZ that Chyna was "named as the suspect in a battery report" filed on May 6, which officers "are investigating."
The alleged victim, Sequoya King, told the outlet she and Chyna "got into a verbal dispute which turned physical."
According to King, the incident took place in the early hours of the Friday morning at a bar in Los Angeles.
She claimed the reality star "took her phone out of her hand" and “slammed” it to the ground – causing alleged "damage" to the device.
She also told the outlet Chyna "kicked her in the stomach, causing her to fall down."
TMZ shared an image of her phone, which appeared to be cracked along both sides.

King spoke further on what happened, saying the incident in question began when Chyna, "believed she was being recorded by people in the bar."
She said Chyna "accused her of using the phone to record footage," an allegation which the woman "denied."
