Britain’s Got Talent magician Sean Heydon not only impressed the judges for his brilliant audition (where he actually turned back time) but fellow illusionist Uri Geller was also left speechless.
The magician from Northampton got the entire BGT audience involved in his act as he turned back the time on everyone’s phones.
What started out as a simple card trick, turned out to be so much more than that and Simon Cowell was so impressed he proclaimed afterwards: ‘Magic is real’.
Following his performance, the legend that is Uri sent Sean a video message where he told him ‘you do it better than me’.
‘Hey Sean, this is Uri Geller, I watched your audition and I must tell you this,’ he said.
‘Although I originated spoon bending and moving the hands of a watch, you do it better than me.
‘I don’t know how you do it, I am mystified, you’re amazing and I send you good, positive energy to be very successful, not only in England but worldwide.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about the video, Sean explained: ‘When I was a kid Uri Geller was the first person to make me feel true wonder.
‘I remember watching him on the TV and being convinced that he made the light bulb start swinging on the ceiling above me.
‘He is one of my heroes and inspirations, so to receive that wonderfully kind message from him was a moment I will treasure for the rest of my life.’
Britain’s Got Talent returns on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
