Tim Weeks has been a key member of the Bargain Hunt team since joining the show in 2018. The expert has loved helping teams find amazing items and win big on the BBC One daytime series over the past four years but how old is he? Here’s everything we know about expert Tim Weeks.

Prior to joining Bargain Hunt, Tim was co-presenting on BBC One’s Street Auction when the antiques show got in touch to ask him for a screen test.

Since then, Tim hasn’t looked back and has continued to be a fan-favourite on the show.

But Bargain Hunt isn’t his only job as he is also the co-owner of Wessex Auction Rooms in Wiltshire.

The company is an auction house which specialises in toys, jewellery, vinyl, music, militaria, sport, antiques, and furniture.

How old is Bargain Hunt expert Tim Weeks?

Tim co-owns Wessex Auction Rooms with Martin Hughes, a fellow antiques expert who has previously featured on Bargain Hunt.

While Tim’s exact age hasn’t been revealed, he did give an insight into roughly how old he is a few years ago.

During an interview in 2016, Tim said he and Martin are “both in our early-ish 30s, which makes us the youngest auction house owners in Wiltshire and possibly in the UK”.

As Tim said this five years ago, this would now mean he is in his late 30s.

Very little is known about Tim’s personal life as he prefers to keep his loved ones out of the spotlight.

But what Express.co.uk does know is that Tim is married to a woman called Alexa.

It isn’t clear how they met or when they tied the knot but they have two children together called Bella and Albie.

Nowadays, much of his focus is on his family rather than antiques.

When asked about how he spends his free time, Tim simply answered: “Having fun and lots of madness with my wife Alexa and two children Albie and Bella. They all boss me around!”

He was then questioned on whether he personally collects items by the BBC.

In a similar manner, Tim replied: “I try not to anymore! I used to collect loads.

“Football programmes, toys, vinyls, ceramics but I tend to spend my money on the kids instead of me these days.”

Tim Weeks will be starring in the next episode of Bargain Hunt to kick off the week.

Bargain Hunt is returning today, Monday, January 10, at 12.15pm on BBC One.

Returning to Worcestershire, the synopsis reads: “Natasha Raskin Sharp heads to Malvern, where experts Thomas Forrester and Tim Weeks help the teams find the best items to sell at auction in Staffordshire.”

Bargain Hunt is available to watch on weekdays on BBC One.
