Geoff, Mary, Andy and Sheila proved they were a chatty bunch early on tonight and it was Geoff who was up first.
Geoff revealed he wanted to take a trip on the Orient Express if he was to win some money tonight and managed to rack up £5,000 in the cash builder.
Paul was introduced to Geoff and offered him £1,000, £5,000 or £25,000 to play with and as usual, Bradley threw it over to the players’ fellow contestants.
Sheila wanted Geoff back quickly and because he flew through the first round encouraged him to stick with the £5,000.

Andy was also on the same wavelength as Sheila and advised him to play for the £5,000 just in case he was hit with a wave of difficult questions early doors.
But, when it got to Mary, she urged Geoff to play for the 25k offer, thinking he was by far good enough to accept it.
She said: “I think you did really well and I really think you should go for the 25k.
Geoff played it safe and opted for the 5k offer, but Paul hit out at Mary for suggesting Geoff took the high offer.
The chaser applauded Geoff’s cash builder round and congratulated him, but then said: “Mary, stop getting greedy so early.”
Geoff quickly made his way into the final with the 5k and Paul said he thought the contestant would be a “danger” in the final.
Mary was up next, and she explained that she and her friend had been trying to watch a lot of award-winning films without being allowed to look up the synopsis.
Contestant Geoff liked the sound of this and out of nowhere told Mary he loved her, Bradley looked concerned, but Geoff quickly added: “Love you too Brad.”
Bradley pulled a face and said: “Steady on their Geoff.”

Mary wasn’t nearly as good as Geoff, but she did somehow also make it into the final with £5,000 despite getting a number of questions wrong.
Fans were confused as to how she had managed to get back to her fellow players and took to Twitter to discuss it.
One viewer said: “I’m shocked Mary got through. She was like a lamb to the slaughter! #thechase.”
Another added: “Luck has saved her! #thechase.”

Mary was up next and explained that her granddaughter had asked her to go on the show, and the grandma wanted her granddaughter driving and maybe help her with a car.
Mary was able to add another £6,000 to the final jackpot, with £16,000 in the prize fund.
However, with thirteen seconds left, Paul got on top of the team and beat them out of the jackpot.
The Chase airs on ITV weekdays at 5pm.
